For solo chairs and 2–5 chair salons
Your new clients are yours. All of them.
Timesalong is an online booking system for hair, nails, lashes and massage that takes no commission — not on new clients, not on anyone. One flat price of 19 kr a month, per salon, not per chair. What you earn from a booking is what you keep.

Why this exists
Somebody put a toll booth in front of your own chair.
Salon owners did not ask for a marketplace. They asked for a calendar. What arrived was a percentage of every new client, then a charge for each chair, and a client list that turned out to belong to somebody else.
“The booking app takes 20% of my new clients — and now charges per chair.”
r/smallbusiness — Fresha’s March 2025 charges ↗“One-star reviews from salon owners, sorted by the lowest rating.”
Trustpilot — Fresha, 1★ ↗“Marketplace commission, explained by the marketplace itself.”

What is the commission actually costing you?
Move the sliders to your own week. This is multiplication, not marketing — the same sum your booking app already runs every month, shown to you instead of to them.
750 kr
What a new client typically pays you.
12
Only the ones the booking app counts as new.
20%
The marketplace cut on those new clients.
1
What a per-chair charge multiplies.
A commission booking app, a month
1 899 kr
1 800 kr in commission + 99 kr for 1 chair — 22 788 kr a year.
Timesalong, the same month
19 kr
The same 19 kr whether you book one client or a hundred — 228 kr a year, per salon, not per chair.
You keep 22 560 kr more a year.
The per-chair figure is set to 99 kr so the sum has a shape — put your own bill in if you know it. The commission side is your numbers multiplied; nothing here is an estimate of what you might save.
What you get
A booking system, and nothing bolted on to it.
Four things, done properly, for the size of salon that gets treated as an afterthought everywhere else.
A calendar that fits a real day
Appointments, breaks, double-bookings you meant to make and the ones you did not. Built for a chair, not for a call centre.
Your own booking page
One link for your Instagram bio, your door and your card. It sends people to you — never to a list of salons near you.
Client cards worth keeping
Colour formulas, allergies, what they said last time. Yours to read, yours to export, yours to take if you ever leave.
SMS reminders that turn up
The message that stops the empty chair, sent automatically before the appointment. Included up to a fair allowance, at cost after it.
The line we will not cross
Things Timesalong will never do.
Every one of these is something a booking app somewhere already does to a salon. Publishing the list is the point — it is what we expect to be held to.
Take a percentage of a booking — new client or old.
Charge you more for adding a chair.
Put a competing salon next to your name.
Make you call someone to cancel.
Publish a price we then quietly change.
The price
19 kr a month. That is the whole page.
Priced at what it costs to run plus a small margin — which is how it can be this small. There is no second tier holding your reminders hostage, and no per-chair line waiting for you at the bottom of the invoice.
